I’ve passed my 1 year mark of blogging! Can you believe it? I sure can’t. *faints*
Even though it sometimes feels like I’ve been blogging forever, I still feel as if it wasn’t long ago at all that I decided to start my own book blog. I originally created Kindle Fever as a place where I could easily collect all my thoughts on books I read throughout the year; it all starting after finishing Fever by Karen Marie Moning. Shadowfever is in fact my first review posted and half the inspiration for the name my blog ended up getting, as it was the first book I finished on my first Kindle I quickly became addicted to! I’m sure you can guess where the other half of the name came from. ;) I never really did much else however until the awesome Nat from Besotted With Books started her blog a while later and that’s when I joined her with really getting out into the book blogging community! And I am SO happy I did, because you’re all, simply put, awesome!
I’ve met so many wonderful people during this year, but I’m especially thankful to have met two of them; the co-hosts of this giveaway who also have their blogoversaries around this time! We met through the Book Bloggers and Publishers Online Conference and have ever since chatted daily on Skype! These ladies are, of course; April from My Shelf Confessions and Amanda from Letters Inside Out — aka my YA person! (I can’t believe we’ve soon Skyped for a year!)
As all of us are turning 1 around February and are big e-readers, we wanted to celebrate big and decided to offer one lucky winner an e-reader as well as five e-books to load it with!
