How would youdescribe yourself with 6 words?
jeans-and-tshirts, facebook-stalker, spider-squealer, mermaid-believer,tide-pool-investigator, ruling-monarch-in-training
Do you have anyspecific dream you wish will come true?
To own and rule a small fantastical universewith lots of minions and trapeze artists who’ll do my bidding.
How come youdecided to start a book blog?
See above and below answers.
How did you comeup with the name for it? Was it your first choice?
Well, my original choice was “A RidiculouslyUncoordinated Girl Plotting to Take Over Make-believe Worlds through Books, Handstands, and ImaginaryThrowing Knives,” but, somehow, that just didn’t have quite the right ring toit. So I shortened it to ”A Girl &Her Books.”
What do you enjoydoing when not reading or blogging?
Practicing my “ruler of a small universe” skills. Although, so far, mykids and small animals are not cooperating.
How does yourbookshelf look at this exact moment? (Either describe or add a picture!)
Let me just say this: I have 7bookshelves, 3 stacks of novels beside my bed, and I’ve been known to cramextras in random drawers and cabinets. (I’m not claiming to be proud of thatlast part.)
What do you lovemost about books and reading?
The possibilities!
What is yourfavourite time of the day and why is it a favourite?
You know that late-afternoon moment when thebuttery rays of sunlight hit the floor just right, making you crave iced tea, strawberries, and a breeze-tickled nap?
Are you an e-girlor a classic printed one?
Classic. Give me the smell of old book bindings and ink-stained paper.

If we’d only haveone season and get rid of the otherthree, which one would you wish to keep?
I live in California, so all seasons aresummer, right?
Which one do youprefer? Pick one in each pair: organized bookshelf or not important—apple ororange juice—sweet or salty.
Semi-organized; Orange juice; Salty
May is finallyhere! Name four different things starting with an M that means somethingspecial to you. Please let us know why as well! (If it’s too hard, I’ll let you use A and Y as well,to still keep the May theme!)
Mykids (for keeping me centered). Myfriends (for keeping me sane). Mywriting(for keeping me dreaming). Myhusband(for keeping me laughing long into theearly hours of forever).
